Heather WangOkay, so here's the scoop . . . Mom broke her arm tripping over some "stuff" on the ground as we were packing the trailer. She toughed it out (not knowing it was broken) until AFTER the trailer was all packed and we left to go get some dinner. I took her to Urgent Care where they deemed it was broken, but she couldstill go on the trip and get a cast on in Minnetonka.
Heather WangCont'd . . . All went well the first day - made it to N. Idaho to spend the night with mom's dear friends, Dianne and Ray. The second day, blew a tire, which delayed us 6 hours of driving time and caused an unexpected night's stay in Missoula Montana (where we're still sitting), because . . .
Heather WangCont'd . . . on Day 3 of our trip, we discovered the blown tire destroyed all the electrical in the truck and trailer. Once that gets fixed, we'll try to make it to Wyoming tonight . . . Lord willing. Right now, hanging out in hotel room until we hear from Grandpa. What an adventure! We're still smiling! MeiLan does that well!
Heather WangMade it to Wyoming! After yesterday, it seemed rather uneventful! Just long.
Heather WangWe are in S Dakota now! Day 4 ended without interruption!
Heather WangSo, Mom got a call from Dad, who got a call from Fred Meyer Pharmacy, who got a call from a guy in Missoula, Montana who said he found a bag of Mom's medication and various other things!! Can you believe that??? The kind gentleman is going to mail it to our new home! Praise the Lord!
Heather WangYes, we experienced Sturgis! I felt like they were a swarm of bees and I was afraid I would squash one!
Heather WangEvery one of our moves involves a trip to IKEA. MeiLan couldn't take it.
